Job Description
The Data Analyst will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from diverse sources to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support business strategies. They will develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI, build companywide data warehouses, and ensure data integrity. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting data validations, and providing actionable recommendations to improve processes. Candidates should have experience with database management systems, data visualization tools, and a strong foundation in programming and statistical analysis.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources
Build and maintain a companywide data warehouse
Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in datasets
Develop Power BI dashboards and reports compatible across devices and browsers
Maintain and secure databases
Collaborate with teams to gather and interpret data requirements
Provide recommendations for business process improvements based on data insights
Stay updated with trends and best practices in data analytics
Ensure data accuracy and perform data validation
Support effective technological innovations across the organization

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or HND in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
At least 4 years’ experience in a Data Analyst role
Proficiency in Power BI and other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView)
Good design skills for effective report presentation
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python or R)
Experience with SQL, database security, and DBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
