Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Everlight Solar, you will play a central role in customer communication and relationship building. Operating remotely in a fast-paced environment, you will handle incoming calls, identify customer needs, resolve issues, and provide accurate information using the appropriate tools. You will be expected to follow company procedures, maintain detailed records, and ensure excellent customer service standards are met. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task effectively.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle high volumes of incoming customer calls

  • Identify and assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships through interactive communication

  • Provide accurate, valid, and comprehensive information using appropriate tools

  • Address complaints, offer solutions, and ensure follow-up

  • Keep records of interactions, process accounts, and maintain documentation

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Some prior experience in customer service or a similar role preferred

  • Strong phone handling and active listening skills

  • Ability to work independently and in team settings

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

  • Must own a Mac computer and be fluent with the Apple ecosystem (iOS, macOS, iWork)

  • Availability for night shifts and alternating weekend schedules

    • Work schedule: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (8am - 6pm CST), including alternating Saturdays
