JOB PURPOSE & MAIN MISSIONS:
Main point of Client contact on all customs clearance issues.
Updating track and trace software
Ensuring that Client KPIs are met by driving the business
Receiving documents from clients.
Confirming receipt of documents to clients
Vetting documents received from clients
Obtaining delivery instructions from the client before the file is opened
Opening JOB files on SPOT
Communicating incomplete/incorrect documents to the Clients and advising on how to
correct the errors on the said document.
Ensuring that the IDF is created and FCVR obtained before the vessel arrives. Where the
documents have been received from the client late, advising the client of the late receipt of
documents and its consequence
Closely following up on designated client’s shipments with all sections, with emphasis on
achieving the pre-agreed client KPI.
Advising clients of any operational delays, as and when they occur.
Proactively minimizing any incident of operational delays.
Sending delivery advice to the client 24 hours before the cargo delivery date.
Updating SPOT & W@Y on time and in real-time
REQUIRED SKILLS
At least 2 years experience in clearing and forwarding
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good use of email
Excellent communicator
Previous customer service experience
