Job Description
The incumbent will lead procurement processes covering equipment, supplies, and services to support distribution centers and overall operations. The role involves working with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives, ensuring quality standards are met, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and innovation. The Country Procurement Lead will also manage supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and mitigate risks associated with procurement processes. The role requires regular travel to distribution centers and active collaboration with legal, compliance, and operations teams.

How to Apply
Lead the procurement of goods, services, and equipment to support company operations.
Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities through vendor negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Manage vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating competitive contracts and service agreements.
Monitor industry trends to identify potential new suppliers and innovation opportunities.
Identify and mitigate procurement risks, implementing effective controls and contingency plans.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to resolve contractual and regulatory issues.
Prepare and present procurement performance reports and analytics to management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in logistics or technology industries.
Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain processes.
Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendors, and deliver cost-saving initiatives.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in procurement workflow tools and data reporting.
Proficiency in computing systems such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work cross-functionally.
Must have the legal right to work in Rwanda.
