Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director and Commercial Manager, the Communications and Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies. The role includes managing social media content, executing offline promotions, coordinating events, enhancing customer engagement, and overseeing branding consistency. The candidate will collaborate closely with a graphic designer and sales team to ensure marketing efforts drive measurable business outcomes, especially in B2C sales of fresh fish and chicken products.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service: Drive B2C product sales, maintain a sales roster, respond to inquiries, manage orders, and ensure after-sales satisfaction.
Social Media Marketing: Manage content creation for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook; increase engagement; collaborate on visuals; and respond to customer interactions.
Offline & Guerrilla Marketing: Plan outdoor campaigns, organize roadshows/pop-up events, and execute creative promotions.
Branding & Marketing: Ensure brand consistency, develop visual content, and coordinate product launches and seasonal campaigns.
Press & Communications: Write press releases, manage media relations, and track coverage.
Exhibitions & Trade Fairs: Represent the company at events, handle logistics, create booth visuals, and generate leads.
Blogging & Content Creation: Write blog posts on product trends, sustainability, and industry insights; collaborate on visuals and maintain a content calendar.
Promotions & Campaigns: Lead campaigns including contests, challenges, and analyze results to optimize performance.
Reporting & Communication: Track campaign metrics, sales progress, and customer feedback.
Call Roster Management: Maintain outreach call schedules and support lead generation via telemarketing.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with design, sales, and operations teams for campaign execution and service delivery.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and communications within FMCG, logistics, or food sectors.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong proficiency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
Experience in digital content creation, guerrilla marketing, and event activation
Ability to develop compelling visuals in collaboration with graphic designers
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
Strong time-management, multitasking, and organizational skills
Self-starter with a creative and innovative mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer
Solid understanding of branding and digital marketing techniques
Strong customer service orientation and sales drive
Agile, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
