Job Description

The Communications and Brand Manager will lead the design and execution of strategic communication initiatives aimed at promoting Illmi Children’s Fund’s work. This includes brand management, content creation, stakeholder engagement, media outreach, social media strategy, and supporting internal and fundraising communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong storytelling skills, be tech-savvy, and have a deep understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and communications tools.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that align with ICF’s goals

  • Craft and disseminate key messages across various channels

  • Ensure consistent and impactful brand messaging

  • Measure and analyze communication efforts using analytics tools

  • Support fundraising initiatives with persuasive communication materials

  • Foster strong relationships with media, journalists, and influencers

  • Plan and execute social media strategies to increase engagement

  • Create high-quality content for digital and print media

  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to enhance visual appeal

  • Ensure effective internal communication within the organization

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in communications or brand management

  • Proven success in leading communication campaigns

  • Strong content creation and editorial skills

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills

  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics

  • Knowledge of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini)

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, ClickUp)

  • Graphic design or video editing skills and SEO knowledge (preferred)
