Job Description
This position involves executing mechanical assembly of chassis components based on detailed engineering drawings and defined process workflows. The Chassis Assembler will maintain tool functionality, ensure all parts are installed to specification, and log assembly data in real-time. The role demands precision, responsibility, and collaboration with other team members to uphold quality and safety standards throughout the assembly process. Candidates with experience in harness management or similar pipeline assembly work will be preferred.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assemble site components strictly in line with drawings and process instructions.
Follow process workflows and maintain adherence to quality standards.
Skillfully operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment.
Conduct daily maintenance and checks on tools and equipment.
Accurately record assembly data, including component usage and assembly status.
Assist in the inspection of assembled components and support team members as required.
Identify and report quality defects or equipment issues for prompt resolution.
Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education & Certification:
Certificate or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Assembly, or a related technical field is an added advantage.
Experience:
Proven experience in mechanical or chassis assembly; experience in pipeline harness management is highly preferred.
Technical Competencies:
Strong ability to interpret technical assembly drawings.
Proficiency in using assembly hand tools and power tools.
Understanding of quality assurance standards and assembly procedures.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and accountability.
Effective communication and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proactive problem-solving approach.
