Job Description
Captains will be responsible for leading and managing flight operations while maintaining high standards of discipline and adherence to aviation regulations. The role includes overseeing crew coordination, conducting pre- and post-flight checks, ensuring aircraft loading compliance, and managing in-flight safety and communication protocols. Selected candidates will be offered a specified-term contract with competitive compensation and benefits aligned with ATCL’s remuneration structure.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Command aircraft while prioritizing safety and passenger comfort
Manage and coordinate the flight crew, including the co-pilot and cabin crew
Ensure commercial targets are met without compromising safety
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks per TCAA and company guidelines
Review Flight Plans, NOTAMs, Fleet Notices, and weather updates
Verify correct loading of aircraft per safety standards
Navigate and communicate with Air Traffic Control
Ensure adherence to flight time limits and regulations
Report incidents and accidents per company and TCAA procedures
Ensure onboard documentation is available and valid
Manage diplomatic mail and special cargo
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum 3,500 flying hours
Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
Multi-Engine and Instrument Rating
At least 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command on aircraft ≥ 20 tons
Type rating for Dash 8-300 or Dash 8-400
ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or higher
Valid Class One Medical Certificate
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
