Job Description
The Business Development Officer will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and growing client relationships, and promoting the company’s services to key decision-makers. The successful candidate will handle prospecting, customer management, lead follow-up, and market research to enhance the company’s reach and service delivery. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, sales expertise, and a good understanding of the expatriation market.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
Schedule client meetings and manage customer appointments effectively
Maintain and supervise a structured client database
Stay informed about industry trends and prospective client needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
Develop strategies for client retention and service promotion
Prospect new clients through calls, emails, and networking events
Respond to client queries and complaints promptly and professionally
Follow up on leads generated by other departments
Monitor and collect client feedback to improve satisfaction
Prepare and deliver pitches and client presentations
Handle submission and follow-up of applications in various administrative bodies
Monitor competitor activities and assess market opportunities

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Proven experience in sales with a consistent track record of meeting sales quotas
Excellent sales and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, focused, and methodical
Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities
Knowledge of the expatriation market is an added advantage
Self-driven and results-oriented
Excellent customer service and client engagement skills
Fluency in English (French is a plus)
