Job Description
To manage the strategic and operational activities in agency business channel to enable the company to achieve its corporate goals of growth, profitability and customer services the broking fraternity.
Duties and Responsibilities
To manage the strategic and operational activities in agency business channel to enable the company to achieve its corporate goals of growth, profitability and customer services the broking fraternity
To respond to quotation requests, and work with underwriting, attend to brokers service issues in Medical business development and develop prospects into new business in line with the Company’s Policies.
To manage Tenders and 'Request for Proposals' issued by purchasing authorities hence providing complete and appropriate solutions/results in line with the companies operating manuals.
To offer sales advice on potential products and services for the company on time.
Issue quotations and determine acceptability of risks, monitor and review terms of accounts assigned.
To prepare tenders/ bids for both new and renewal business for Health business
To develop and maintain a robust pipeline for both new and renewal business and ensure to follow up to win.
Assist the Health Business through managers execute the business development strategic initiatives.
Represent UAPOM in business development meetings with prospective clients/ agents.
To develop and maintain a robust pipeline for both new and renewal business and ensure to follow up to win.
Follow up renewal notices and renewal terms including renewal follow-ups.
Review business performance among brokers to ensure right terms and pricing is shared to win business.
Weekly client visits and engagements to offer excellent service to clients and agents.
Support the underwriting, claims and credit control staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure a seamless service to clients, ensure timely submission of Bids.
To coordinate the development of tender documents the response documents to the client within defined deadlines for the agency team.
Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Monitor service standards within the department to ensure high quality customer service is delivered.
