Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic business plans, developing partnerships, and leading marketing and sales efforts. This role requires expertise in market analysis, relationship building, and leadership to position Onyx Beauty Hub as a market leader in the luxury hair industry. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to enhance product offerings, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring robust financial performance through innovative strategies.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to strengthen the brand's market presence.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels.

  • Lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including collaborations with influencers.

  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and customer preferences.

  • Build and sustain relationships with wholesale and retail clients, vendors, and partners.

  • Establish pricing strategies, prepare sales forecasts, and monitor revenue generation.

  • Represent Onyx Beauty Hub at trade shows, events, and networking forums.

  • Collaborate with teams to improve product offerings and customer experiences.

  • Track performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management.

  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales, ideally in the luxury beauty or fashion industry.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong knowledge of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

  • Self-driven and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.

  • Preferred: Experience in international sourcing and distribution, and an established network in the beauty and hair industry.
