Job Description
As a Bartender at Accor Hotels, your core responsibility is to deliver an outstanding guest experience by offering excellent beverage service in a warm and engaging manner. You will be tasked with mixing and preparing a wide range of beverages, maintaining bar hygiene and equipment, and managing inventory and par stock levels efficiently. The role involves upholding hospitality standards, adhering to liquor laws and safety protocols, and actively participating in team spirit and training programs. You will also handle guest feedback appropriately and support service recovery initiatives to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Prepare and mix a variety of beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Welcome and interact with guests and colleagues warmly and professionally.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety in the bar area.
Ensure bar is fully stocked with adequate mise-en-place for each shift.
Handle guest feedback promptly and escalate unresolved issues.
Adhere to liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
Maintain a clean and safe work and dining environment.
Control wastage, monitor inventory, and complete daily and monthly stock counts.
Participate in scheduled training and follow hotel standards and procedures.
Report technical faults with equipment such as freezers or refrigerators.
Assist with additional duties or projects as assigned by management.
Ensure compliance with hotel’s ethical and safety protocols.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management.
Food and Beverage training or certification is an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and high level of professionalism.
Excellent grooming and personal hygiene standards.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain guest satisfaction.
Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and liquor laws.
