Job Description
The Auxiliary Nurse will support the pharmacy team by managing the checkout counter, attending to walk-in clients, and providing medical assistance where necessary. The role includes helping with prescription fulfillment, medication handling, and basic healthcare services such as wound dressing and vaccine administration. Candidates must be proactive, friendly, and well-versed in community pharmacy practices. Proximity to the Magodo Gateway Zone area is a key consideration.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Attend to walk-in customers and handle inquiries professionally
Support the Pharmacist in fulfilling prescriptions and managing orders
Deliver excellent customer service at the checkout counter
Perform basic medical procedures such as wound dressing and vaccine administration
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the pharmacy area
Assist in stock-taking and inventory management as required

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Relevant Auxiliary Nursing certification or qualification
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail/community pharmacy
Good knowledge of medication brands and pharmaceutical products
Experience with wound care and vaccine administration
Must reside within or near Berger, Shangisha Magodo, Oke Ira Magodo, Isheri Magodo or surrounding areas
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work under minimal supervision
