Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Automobile Electrician with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in all-round automobile electricity, particularly focused on cars. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge and skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles. This position requires someone who has worked in a car workshop or industry setting and holds at least a Senior Four UCE certificate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose electrical issues in vehicles and determine appropriate solutions.
Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as wiring, sensors, alternators, and starters.
Install and configure electrical accessories, including lights, alarms, audio systems, and navigation units.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with electrical systems to prevent accidents or damage.
Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to coordinate repairs and services efficiently.
Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to automotive electricity.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices as needed.

Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum of two years of experience as an Automobile Electrician, preferably in a car workshop or industry setting.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, circuits, and components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Hands-on experience with installing and configuring electrical accessories in vehicles.
Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for job duties).
