Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for the following post:
Laboratory Support:
Experiment Preparation: Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for experiments.
Assist with Experiments: Support scientists and researchers in conducting experiments, including setting up equipment and monitoring reactions.
Data Collection: Record and organize experimental data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Equipment Maintenance:
Equipment Setup: Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment such as spectrometers, chromatographs, and pH meters.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory instruments and equipment.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and reorder as necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
Safety Protocols: Follow all laboratory safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of chemical waste and manage hazardous materials according to regulations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding laboratory practices.
Administrative Tasks:
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, experiments, and maintenance logs.
Reporting: Assist in preparing reports and summaries of experimental results.
Coordination: Coordinate with other laboratory staff and departments to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
Training and Development:
Skill Development: Continuously improve technical skills and stay updated with new laboratory techniques and equipment.
Assistance: Assist in training new laboratory technicians and interns in standard laboratory procedures and safety protocols.

Educational Qualifications:
Degree: An Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related field is typically required.
Certifications: Additional certifications in laboratory techniques or safety may be beneficial.
Professional Experience:
Laboratory Experience: Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred, especially in a chemistry-related role.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and techniques is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting standard chemical procedures.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in conducting experiments and recording data.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills for managing supplies, equipment, and documentation.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals.
Analytical Skills: Basic analytical skills to assist in interpreting experimental results.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings.
