Job Description

As an Area Sales Executive at Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel, the role entails managing and nurturing client relationships through direct sales efforts including calls, site inspections, and familiarization (FAM) trips. The executive is expected to identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned sectors, participate in industry events to maintain market awareness, and represent the hotel in networking engagements. A key focus will be on driving revenue through strategic growth and marketing initiatives while ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored service. Candidates must demonstrate strong sales acumen, be self-driven, and results-oriented.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop client relationships for both new and repeat business

  • Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and FAM trips to promote the hotel

  • Attend and represent the hotel at industry networking events

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to identify new opportunities and grow revenue

  • Coordinate client entertainment and participate in hotel tours and presentations

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales executive or similar role

  • Experience in the luxury hospitality sector
