Job Description
The AI Engineer will work on state-of-the-art generative AI initiatives, including applications for content generation, summarization, question answering, and natural language understanding. You will develop end-to-end AI solutions from data processing to deployment, fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for domain-specific use cases, and integrate AI features into existing systems. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align AI outputs with organizational goals. Ideal candidates will have experience deploying scalable, production-ready AI solutions on cloud platforms, with familiarity in frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop AI-powered applications for text generation, summarization, and conversational interfaces
Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT) using domain-specific datasets
Design and implement end-to-end AI pipelines including data processing, model integration, and deployment
Integrate AI capabilities into existing software systems
Create APIs and web apps using tools such as Flask, FastAPI, or Streamlit
Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) using Docker/Kubernetes
Collaborate with business units to understand needs and deliver tailored AI solutions
Manage and maintain data infrastructure for model training and inference
Continuously optimize models using real-time feedback loops

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
3+ years’ experience in AI/ML model development and deployment
Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
Experience developing generative AI applications and natural language solutions
Familiarity with cloud-based deployment and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Experience with APIs/web app frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred:
Master’s degree in a relevant field
Familiarity with LangChain and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
Experience deploying LLMs at scale
Experience working with pharmaceutical datasets (EHR, claims, demand data)
Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance standards (e.g., GxP, ALCOA+)
