Job Title

Administrative Manager job at Mota-Engil

Job Description

Monitor project costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure timely submission of the HRSAP timesheets and coordinate the teams. Provide support in the implementation of the HR procedures and policies in compliance with the Labour laws. Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency. Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations including managing schedules and deadlines.
Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints including costs and expenses.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes

  • Monitor project costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Ensure timely submission of the HRSAP timesheets and coordinate the teams.

  • Provide support in the implementation of the HR procedures and policies in compliance with the Labour laws.

  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations including managing schedules and deadlines.

  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints including costs and expenses.

  • Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities, and tradespersons (e.g. electricians).

  • Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning, etc.) in compliance with the company policies and regulations.

  • Keep abreast with all organizational changes and business developments

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Degree in Administration, Finance, or Human Resource Management or any related discipline.

  • 6 years of proven work experience in advanced knowledge of Business and Administration.

  • Must be an ERP/SAP super user.

  • Experience working on international construction projects is an added advantage

  • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds

  • Excellent communication skills
