Job Description
Record sales, record collections, review GL account, reconcile and clear the customer account.
Review the record with BSP sales
Check and record the tax accrual with sales in accordance with every country’s polices and regulations.
Responsible for processing airline accounting invoices received.
Track contract renewals and work closely with Sales team on status of existing customer accounts.
Research cash receipts, coding and the posting of receipts
Participate in the month-end close process with the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and various analyses
Support the quarterly reviews and annual audit requests
Review the tickets which have been issued or refunded.
Review all expenses and preparing the invoices or credit notes if GSA lease, chartered any flights, or the regular flights, and coordinate another expenses or payments.
Cooperate with other financial sectors to finalize all tasks.
Review and reconcile all accounts to clear our Customers & GL accounts
Manage Revenue accounting System
Manage Interline Billing and Rejection Memo in accordance With IATA rules
Manage Ticket proration Through revenue accounting system In accordance with filling rules
Assist in development and implementation of new and/or upgraded financial systems
Ensure adherence to revenue recognition policies and procedures
Data capture and processing of flight coupon data for the accountancy and balance of an airline.
Conduct Revenue Audits and report findings to drive correct behavior and address revenue leakage.
Bank reconciliations for collection accounts

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Education and Experience
• University Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Airline experience is an advantage.
• Professional qualification at a minimum of level I for CPA/ACCA/ACA
• Experience in a finance function and familiar with month end processes.
• Knowledge of revenue accounting systems for an airline will be an added advantage.
