Job Title: Volunteer Research Associate – 3 Positions

Job Summary:
The Volunteer Research Associate position offers career development opportunities to holders of a master’s or doctorate degree in economics, quantitative economics, development economics, statistics or a related economic field.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Undertake empirical economic policy research and analysis
Engage in commissioned work for and on behalf of the Centre
Based on research findings and sound analysis, contribute to national policy discourse

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Candidates for the Volunteer Research Associate program should be Ugandans and must have the following: –
A Minimum of a Master’s or doctorate degree by coursework & research in economics, quantitative economics, statistics, or a related economic field from a reputable University
Strong training background in economic theory and methods
Demonstrated ability to use STATA, for data analysis
Excellent writing skills
High-level interpersonal and good communication skills
Unquestionable integrity
The Volunteer Research Associate position is for one (1) year contract, with a possibility for renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
