Position Overview
As a Case Management Coordinator, you will lead and supervise case management teams in refugee settlements. You’ll oversee the effective delivery, documentation, and evaluation of child protection (CP) services for vulnerable children, while supporting staff development and promoting ethical, high-quality case management practices.

We need to keep children safe so our selection process, which includes rigorous background checks, reflects our commitment to the protection of children from abuse.

1. Program Oversight & Supervision
Ensure timely, ethical, and high-quality case management services in line with SOPs.
Monitor performance, support implementation, and ensure quality documentation of CP cases.
Conduct case file reviews and provide regular updates to the Case Management Officer.
Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of caseworkers.
2. Capacity Building
Assess capacity of new staff within their first month.
Provide ongoing coaching, shadowing, and reflective supervision for caseworkers.
Promote the use of guiding principles and best practices in all case management processes.
3. Staff Wellbeing & Safety
Support emotional wellbeing and safety of field teams.
Promote self-care and lead team-building initiatives.
4. Coordination & Representation
Maintain active service mapping and referral networks.
Represent Save the Children in coordination meetings and build partnerships with other service providers and stakeholders.
5. Team Leadership
Facilitate regular team meetings and one-on-one supervision sessions with caseworkers.
6. Additional Duties
Adhere to child protection and safeguarding policies.
Ensure team security in field operations.
Support additional tasks as delegated by the Project Manager.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Rights, or related field. Certificate in Child Protection is an advantage.
At least 4 years’ experience in case management in humanitarian/development contexts.
Knowledge of national CP systems, alternative care, and juvenile justice.
Experience in staff supervision, training, and mentoring.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management databases.
Fluent in English with excellent communication and documentation skills.
Commitment to child rights, child participation, and safeguarding principles.
Desired:
Skills in monitoring and evaluation, community-led assessments, and training design.
Experience working in refugee settlements or similar contexts.
Ability to thrive in multicultural environments.
