Job Description
Job Title: GIS Assistant (2 Fresher No Experience / Fresh Graduate Jobs)
Organisation: Oil Palm Uganda Limited
Duty Station: Kalangala, Uganda
The GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Assistant supports the GIS department in collecting, analyzing, and processing geospatial data. This role involves working with GIS software, creating and maintaining digital maps, performing spatial analysis, and assisting in data management and reporting. The GIS Assistant will also provide administrative support to the GIS team, ensuring that all geospatial data is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in surveying and Land Information Systems with at least 1 years’ experience in using any mapping software.
Other competences
Must be familiar with mapping software Arc GIS, Global Mapper, Agisoft.
Ability to fly drones and process aerial data.
Willingness to relocate to any group plantations within the estate from time to time
