Job Description
As a .NET Developer, you will be instrumental in developing robust, scalable software solutions for the insurance industry. This role spans the full development lifecycle, from understanding business processes to implementing effective technical solutions. You will work on maintaining the existing codebase, creating new solutions, implementing best practices, and supporting database administration. You will collaborate closely with senior developers, apply cloud-based development strategies, and stay abreast of evolving technology trends to contribute to team innovation.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Support and enhance existing software codebase
Develop new software solutions based on business requirements
Maintain proper code documentation, version control, and coding standards
Understand and translate business processes into technical solutions
Collaborate with senior developers and assist with overflow work
Align code development with the IT infrastructure roadmap including cloud technologies
Investigate and recommend modern development trends and practices
Perform database administration, reporting, and analytics

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant IT qualification
Minimum of 5 years' development experience
Strong experience with C# and ASP.Net
Solid understanding of SQL and RDBMS concepts
Exposure to or understanding of .NET Core and Entity Framework
