Job Description
The Supervisor will be responsible for:
Supervising guards within a designated area to ensure they perform their duties effectively, preventing theft or damage to client property.
Ensuring that all guards have the necessary equipment, are in uniform, and maintain a professional appearance.
Verifying that guards understand and follow their assignment instructions diligently.
Maintaining regular communication with the duty operations controller, promptly reporting any absence, misconduct, or disciplinary issues.
Keeping in touch with clients regularly to provide updates on security services and to gather feedback.
Making accurate and detailed entries in the Supervisor Occurrence Book.
Reporting all incidents immediately and assisting in subsequent investigations.
Providing daily deployment and supervision reports, along with weekly written reports to the Operations Manager.
Conducting customer care feedback and performing marketing functions as needed.
Building and maintaining relationships with relevant authorities and local police in the assigned zone.
Reporting any issues affecting guards promptly to relevant offices.
Ensuring the company motorcycle is well maintained and properly cared for.
Performing any other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise guards to ensure the security and safety of client premises.
Monitor guards’ conduct, dress code, and equipment.
Ensure guards are familiar with and adhere to assignment instructions.
Communicate regularly with the duty operations controller regarding guard performance and issues.
Keep in close contact with clients to assess satisfaction and resolve concerns.
Record incidents and guard activities accurately in the Occurrence Book.
Report incidents promptly and support investigations.
Generate daily, supervision, and weekly reports.
Conduct customer feedback sessions and promote the company’s services.
Liaise with local authorities and police to address security matters.
Maintain the company motorcycle in good condition.
Perform additional tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

Job Experience: No prior experience required.
Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English (reading and writing) and Swahili.
Ability to ride a motorcycle.
Trustworthy, honest, and dependable.
Team player and adaptable to changing situations.
Motivational and training skills.
