Job Description
The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Citizens’ Action Against Corruption project in all aspects of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL).
Duties and Responsibilities
The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Citizens’ Action Against Corruption project in all aspects of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL).
The position holder will lead the MEL function of the Citizen Action Against Corruption project including. This includes responsibility for Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plan (AMELP), project performance management, evidence-based learning agenda and culture, MEL technical capacity strengthening for staff and partners, contribute to periodic project activity planning and budgeting processes. The incumbent will ensure integration of adaptive management and agile program design, implementation, and monitoring, rooted in citizen engagement using participatory approaches. Lead and provide technical support for analysis, use and dissemination and managing data within AAIU’s Management Information System, and EAGLES knowledge management platform. In coordination with the COP, Grants Manager, and all programme and support team, prepare analyses of all performance indicator data including progress against targets and key disaggregated results, ensuring these are reflected as key components of all quarterly and annual reports, and any other periodic updates. The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Citizens’ Action Against Corruption project in all aspects of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL).

Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, or statistics, a post graduate diploma/Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation, or Project Planning and Management. At least 7 years of relevant work experience.
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in leading monitoring, evaluation and learning function in a large and fast paced donor funded project. Experience with a USAID supported project preferred.
Knowledge of USAID reporting procedures, best practices, guidelines, methods, and MEL approaches
Demonstrated ability to lead the design and implementation of an MEL systems, databases, and data collection tools.
Demonstrated experience using data and learning to inform program and management decision-making.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Demonstrated experience with MEL that measures governance related outcomes and promotes gender and social inclusion
